Robert Louis Stevenson is a famous writer born in Scotland in 1850. He had to end his studies because of his poor health. Then he began to travel. He wrote many books during his travels such as Inland Voyage written in 1878 about the journeys on the rivers and canals of Belgium and France. He got married in California. Then he and his wife made their home in Samoa. Treasure Island, Kidnapped, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde are other famous books written by him. Lots of people around the world love his travel books. Stevenson died in 1894 in Samoa.
