School Handicrafts Competition

Preservation and development of indigenous traditional handicrafts is a national responsibility. A second generation is a pre-requisite to ensure its continuance and as such the National Crafts Council has launched a school-centric annual program - School Handicrafts Competition and Exhibition jointly sponsored by the National Crafts Council and Education Ministry.

The first three winners of the senior category will receive cash prizes of Rs. 25,000, Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 while the winners of the junior category will receive cash prizes of Rs. 15,000, Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 5,000.
