Twenty-one children of Lake House employees' who were successful at the Year Five Scholarship Examination - 2018 were given awards at a ceremony held at Lake House on August 30. This was the 20th consecutive year this award ceremony was held. It was organised by the Lake House Employees' Benefit Fund.
Chairman/Managing Director Krishantha Cooray, Finance Director Dushantha Basnayake, Editorial Director Lalith Alahakkoon, Company Secretary Kumudu Gunawardena, General Manager Abhaya Amaradasa, Deputy General Manager, Advertising Waruna Mallawaarachchi, Editor-in-Chief Dinamina Pushpa Rowel attended the event. The Manager, City Office, Peoples Bank was represented by Vimukthi Umayangana. Lake House employees and parents were also present.
