Sri Lanka Insurance (SLIC) staff members contributed essential medical equipment to the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital, commemorating World Children’s Day
Ward 3 of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children is a general Pediatric Ward which caters approximately 80 inward patients daily with acute and chronic medical conditions.
The ward consists of several sections including ‘Emergency Care Unit’ and a ‘High Dependency Unit’ to provide care for critically ill patients. SLIC volunteered to contribute to purchase medical equipment worth more than Rs.1,200,000 .
The Multipara Monitors presented by SLIC are widely used in critical care units as bedside monitors to continuously monitor vital parameters such as heart rate, ECG, Pulse Oximetry, blood pressure and temperature.
