My motherland is Sri Lanka. It is a small island located in the Indian Ocean. Some Indians believe that Sri Lanka is the pendant of India. Our national flower is the blue water lily. Our national tree is the iron wood tree and our national bird is the jungle fowl. The first king of my country was Vijaya and the last king was Sri Wickarama Rajasinghe. Our present President is Maithripala Sirisena. We should be proud of Sri Lanka.
