My birthday was on December 13. It was a holiday and I did not have to go to school. I got up early and wore a new dress. Everyone was busy. Mother was preparing sweetmeats, while father was decorating the house for a party in the evening. My friends and classmates came to the party. We sang and played. It was an unforgettable day in my life.
