Zahira College, Colombo had its Annual Inter House Primary Sports Meet at the College Grounds recently. It was held under the patronage of Principal Trizviiy Marikkar. The Chief Guest was SAARC Games Gold Medalist Julian Bolling and Guest of Honour was old boy and Co-Founder Pickme, Fathhi Mohamed.
The overall championship was won by Angora House with159.5 points. Cordova House with 152.5 points came second, Bagdad House with 118.5 points third and Istanbul House 103.5 points fourth. Angora House won awards for Best March Past, Drill Display and Best House Decoration.
Captain of Angora House M.N.M. Rinaz received the challenge shield from the Chief Guest Julian Bolling.
Sports Coordinator and Meet Secretary M.A.Z.M. Irshan, Board of Governors Sports Sub Committee Chairman M.S.M. Faiz, Deputy Principals Ananda Ponnamperuma and Razeen Assan were present.
