Former Sri Lanka Cricket Captain Kumar Sangakkara arrives at the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the Sports Ministry to record a statement over the 2011 World Cup match fixing allegations.
Sangakkara held the captaincy of the team at that time. The SIU commenced the probe following the allegation by former Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage that the 2011 ICC World Cup Final between India and Sri Lanka was fixed.
