7,576 people are still in quarantine

7, 576 persons were undergoing quarantine at 71 centres belonging to the tri-forces as at this morning, the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 said.

A total of 35, 142 had returned home after completing the quarantine process. Eight more COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals yesterday following full recovery.

While 624 persons infected with COVID-19 at Kandakadu rehabilitation centre had been discharged from hospitals, another 25 were still undergoing treatments.
