8,239 persons were undergoing quarantine at 74 centres belonging to the tri-forces as at this morning, the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 said.
A total of 35,780 had returned home after completing the quarantine process. Four more COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals yesterday following full recovery.
While 626 persons infected with COVID-19 at Kandakadu rehabilitation centre had been discharged from hospitals, another 13 were still undergoing treatments.
