Pearls of Excellence, the students of School of Excellence, Madurankuliya, Puttalam conducted an awareness program at the school premises on environmental protection, air pollution and water conservation on the eve of National Environment Day recently. Principal H. Ajmal, Vice Principal Fatima Beebi, Muslim Hands Project Officer M. Harris, pre-grade teacher-in-charge Jesliya, parents, teachers and students were present.
Trees were planted by teachers and students. Parents of Pearls of Excellence donated love birds with a shed and a fish tank.
