Sri Lankan Investor Relations (IR) professionals now have access to the IR Society’s International Certificate in Investor Relations (ICIR). The ICIR is an internationally recognised qualification for the investor relations profession.
It is a comprehensive test of competency in IR, providing the tools to help candidates develop their careers in the profession. The certificate will help to develop a best practice framework in IR for Sri Lankan listed companies

Running for over 12 years, the CIR has become a benchmark in the industry, widely recognised in the UK and in other international markets, and we are excited to add the Colombo Stock Exchange to our international partner collaborations.”

The program comprises a self-study course and an examination. The topics covered includeFinancial Markets;Corporate Entities and Governance; Market Conduct; Reporting; Accounting Valuation and Investment Principles; and Effective IR in Practice.
