The wilderness shines,
With the brightness of childish faces,
Soil wet with yesterday’s rain,
The flowers nodding their pretty heads,
Thanking God for rain.
The brook filled to the brim with water,
No more tears to shed,
As all the children laugh and sing,
Thanking God for rain
