Kavish Gunatilake, born in the UK and now living in the Seychelles has been making various donations to Kumbaloluwa Primary School, Kegalle and the people of the area for the past nine years on his birthday.
Except during the days of Covid-19 restrictions, most of the time he visits Sri Lanka to make donations to the needy families of Panaliya village and schoolchildren.
These donations have been given to a large number of students and their families annually. Donations include shoes, school bags, study materials and foods that would support and encourage children to attend school.
Kavish said that his wish is to see a brighter and more successful future for those children. Kavish had started this program when he was in Grade 5 and now he has completed his Advance Level and is waiting to go to university.
