The Annual Prefects’ Investiture of Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda was held recently at the school’s main hall. The Chief Guest was Senior Professor, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Yasanjali Jayathilake, a well-known past Anulian.
It was organised under the patronage of the Principal, Vayoni Vishaka Rajapaksha.
Nawalapitiye Anuradha Dhamma Chari Therini, Deputy Principal, Yasanga Piyadigamage and Assistant Principal, Sandamali Gamage and all the Deputy Principals, Assistant Principals, teachers, non-academic staff and parents participated.
Hiruni Dayapathirana was selected as the Head Prefect for 2023-2024, while Dasuli Sourjha, Viduni Athukorala and Onadi Amarasena were appointed as Deputy Head Prefects.
Dilni Sooriyaarachchi was appointed as the Games Captain while Tharudini Hettihewa and Chanumi Ranasinghe were appointed as Vice Games Captains.
