Island Tea and Ceylon Coffee Club opens branch at Colombo City Centre Mall

Island Tea Co. and Ceylon Coffee Club are brands owned and operated by Ceylanka Trading Inc., a registered company under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Philippines. Ceylanka Trading Inc. operates a network of over 150 Tea and Coffee cafesacross Philippines, Dubai, Ireland and Sri Lanka.

The company has more outlets adding to its network with planned openings in India and USA in the first quarter of 2024. The company in partnership with the Master Franchise Partner for Sri Lanka Silk Five Private Limited is currently working towards an ambitious target of opening 100 branches across Sri Lanka within five years.

Ceylanka Trading Inc. in partnership with Silk Five Limited opened its second retail store in Sri Lanka in the prestigious life style mall Colombo City Centre recently, creating a destination-based retail experience with unique beverage products for the very first time in a mall environment in Sri Lanka.

The retail company from the Philippines having launched its presence in Sri Lanka with its first branch opening earlier this year in Nawala, has already commenced construction and plans to open its third branch in in Town Hall by December.

“By opening the Sri Lankan market with our franchise model, we hope to add many more branches in the coming months in becoming a retail icon in the key areas of Colombo along with the tourist destinations around Sri Lanka,” said Minodh de Sylva, the Director / Chief Business Officer of Ceylanka Trading Inc,

Island Tea Co. and Ceylon Coffee Club will feature more than 100 beverage options from Iced Bobba Milk Teas, Fruit Teas, Cream Cheese Milk Teas, Brown Sugar Teas, Iced Cream Tea Shakes along with an Oreo and Nutella range topped with premium Black, Golden and Sakura Bobba Pearls, whereas the coffee lovers can look forward to a range of hot lattes to over iced drinks and blended frappesalong with a host of other novel recipes that are popular globally.
