Malay CC and Navy SC took the lead on the first innings against Army SC and Sebastianites CC on the first day in their fixtures of the Premier Tier B clubs two day cricket tournament played yesterday.

At Katunayake:

Army SC: 49 (Sahan Kaushalya 3/7, Dumindu Sewmina 3/8, Sithuka Gunawardena 2/12) and 91/3 (Ashan Sudarshana 40, Sithuka Gunawardena 4/42)

Malay CC: 132 (Nabeel Rajudeen 34, Rehan Sasmitha 33, Kevin Samuel 30 n.o., Sukitha Dewthilina 6/19, Lahiru Amarasekara 3/28)

At Galle:

Lankan CC: 233 (Thumditha Rasanjana 96, Themira Mikashana 61, Thisan Dewmith 4/75, Bhanuka Manohara 2/43, Bimsara Weerasinghe 2/21, Yuri Koththigoda 2/48)
