George Steuart Travel, the 43-year old travel arm of George Steuart and Co., was recognized at the Annual Passenger Sales Award Ceremony, hosted by Singapore Airlines at the Colombo Hilton Hotel recently with the Gold Award for Best Passenger Sales.
George Steuart Travels grabbed the No.1 position for the fourth consecutive year. Classic Travels won the Silver award and Gabo Travels - Bronze.
The Merit Award winners were Hemas Travels, MacKinnon’s Travels, Metro Travels, World link Travels, BG Air, 2nd Chance Travels and Traveler Global.
Director/CEO of George Steuart Travel Ltd., Channe Wijemanne received the award from Regional Vice President West Asia and Africa for Singapore Airlines, Joey Seow.
Chairman Aitken Spence Aviation Pvt. Ltd/Deputy Chairman Aitken Spence PLC, J.M.S Brito, General Manager, Singapore Airlines, Richard Kwee and Managing Director, Aitken Spence Pvt Ltd., Keethi Jayaweera, were also present.
