My motherland is Sri Lanka and it is an island. It is known as the pearl of the Indian Ocean. Sri Jayewardenepura is the capital of Sri Lanka. It is a very beautiful island with waterfalls, rivers, forests, mountains and beautiful gardens. Our country is multi-racial with Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims and Burghers living in peace and harmony.
