An 18-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man lost their lives, while 28 others sustained injuries in a tragic mass shooting that occurred at a block party in Baltimore yesterday (03 June).
The Baltimore Police has stated that that all 30 victims had suffered gunshot wounds. The age range of the victims varied between 13 and 32 years old.
The Baltimore Police have identified the two individuals who were fatally shot as 18-year-old Aaliyah Gonzales and 20-year-old Kylis Fagbemi. It is also reported that among those injured, 15 were under the age of 18.
According to US media, nine of the injured individuals were still hospitalized nearby as of Sunday afternoon, with their conditions varying.
Authorities are actively investigating into this tragic event. So far it is stated that at least two individuals were involved in the shooting.
This is the third mass shooting in the month July in US and it has only been three days.
