The 27 annual ‘Fox Hill Super Cross’ is to be worked off on April 21 & 22 from 9.0 a.m. onwards at the most picturesque circuit at the Sri Lanka Military Academy Complex in Diyatalawa. This year the event is organized by the Committee headed by SLDA Commandant S.K. Eshwaran along with Army Motor Committee and Governing body for Motor Sports Sri Lanka Automobile Sports with the blessings of the Ministry of Sports.
Hutch Sri Lanka is the main sponsor while there are many more co-sponsors who have come forward to make the event a grand one. It will be a great day for Drivers, Riders and as well as the motor racing fans who are eagerly waiting to witness the grand super Cross that heralds the beginning of the Hutch Super Series for the Year 2019.
The organizers have already received over 350 entries from drivers and riders which is also the highest number received for Fox Hill Super Cross to making a new land mark for Fox Hill Super Cross said Secretary SLAS Dilhan Jayawardane at a press briefing held at the Hilton Hotel on Friday.
Chairman organizing Com. Commandant Eshwaran addressing the media said that Fox Hill Super Cross which was introduced in 1993 has come a long way with support extended by sponsors. With more and more coming forward to sponsor this mega event it has not only helped driver and riders but it also has helped to improve the infrastructure facilities at the Academy while supporting the welfare of families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives in safeguarding the country and also of the disabled soldiers and their families.
