The Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer picked on reader voting is Theeksha Gunasinghe of St. Anthony’s College Kandy while the Most Popular Schoolgirl Cricketer is Sithmi Hirasha of Anula Vidyalaya who will line up to receive their awards on September 20. With the interest shifting to the girls it is certain that more girls schools will take to the game and enhance the standard of their game in the future.
