Strange Giants win Zahira Old Boys cricket trophy

Strange Giants won the Zahira College Colombo Class of 2008 Old Boys annual cricket tournament at the Malay Cricket Club, Colombo recently.

Ten teams, Royal Ryders, Strange Giants, Sparkerz United, Hurricane Strikers, Colombo Sharks, Colombo Tuskers, Supernovas, Infinity, Tahukhans and Zahira Gangsters contested the tournament. Strange Giants were captained by Mohamed Usman while the runners up team was Tahukhans led by Sabry Passella and received the award from Vice President Class of 2008 M. Zafran. The best batsman award was won M. Naleer (Strange Giants) while the Man of the Tournament was Mohamed Usman (Strange Giants). The best bowler was M. Qahir (Tahukhans). President of the Class of 2008 SM Fawzan, Secretary Azaam Shakaf, Project Chairman Naim Lantra and Project Secretary Abdul Qhair and members of the Class of 2008 graced the occasion.
