Jaffna Central College entered to the final of the Under 19 inter-school Division Three tier ‘A’ cricket tournament conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA) yesterday.
Jaffna Central College, which is over a hundred years old beat Rajasinghe Central College Hanwella by seven wickets in the semi final played at the Nalanda College ground in Colombo.
The Jaffna schoolboys beat St. Joseph's College Wattala by 10 wickets while Rajasinghe Central College beat St. Mary’s College Matugama by six runs in the quarter finals.
Jaffna Central will meet the winners of the second semi final between Methodist High School Moratuwa and Vidyaloka College in Galle which will be played today.
