The Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) has organised a blood donation programme on Tuesday November 30 at the Central Blood Bank in Narahenpita from 8.00 am.
TTSL president Bonita Odayar from Amadeus Lanka and the executive committee are spearheading the project.
Inaugurated in 1976 and having a membership of over 170 firms from hotels, travel agents and airlines, TTSC is the only sports body to conduct 12 or more different sports events in one season. However, the pandemic affected member organizations severely with many losing their jobs and livelihoods.
Earlier, the TTSC offered monetary support to the families of any employee of a member firm that died due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
