A ceremony was held by the Health Services Trade Union Federation jointly with the Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Ministry and the World Health Organization to felicitate Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne on his appointment as Vice Chairman of the World Health Organization at Nelum Pokuna Theatre, under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and the WHO Representative in Sri Lanka Dr. Razia Pendse attended the event along with well-wishers.
