The prestigious Women in Management (WIM) Sri Lanka hosted their second annual awards show in Canada recently, recognizing 44 Canadian Sri Lankan women.
At the event, Founder of WIM, Dr. Sulochana Segera, delivered a special message to the Canadian Sri Lankan women through video. The WIM Canada Chapter is headed by lawyer Devika Anthony and the awards show organizer is Rienzie Martinesz, a highly regarded marketing professional.

We will have programs to share knowledge and advice on ‘career guidance’ and programs to enhance knowledge on how to be healthy physically and mentally to meet all challenges in life and work. We invite the WIM Award winners to become members of WIM Canada and help us help others” A Law Firm President in Canada Thushari Namal Randunu Suduwelikanda received her award from Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner in Canada Asoka Girihagama, the chief guest. The event was graced by the High Commissioner Girihagama and Madam Girihagama along with President, Canada Sri Lanka Business Council Upali Obeysekera, President, Canada Sri Lanka Association Raj Kumar Parameswaran and Vice President John Keels Holdings Nadeem Shums. John Keels Holdings was the Platinum Sponsor of WIM Canada Awards.
