Award winning actor and film maker Jackson Anthony’s latest movie ‘Eka Gei Sokari’ is set to take local cinema lovers through a new cinematic experience. Anthony who is the script writer and director of the film has created the story of this movie based on an ancient Lankan tradition – Eka gei Kaema’ (polyandry) and the popular dance tradition ‘Sokari’ which combination is now becoming a part of our history. The story unravels a series of incidents that took place in a quaint hamlet decades ago.
The cast includes, Udari Warnakulasuriya, Akhila Dhanuddara, Sajitha Anuththara, Wilson Gunaratne, Terry Jayasinghe, Ruwan Perera, Senali Fonseka, Ariyaratne Kaluarachchi, Sampath Tennekoon, Susila Kottage, Ruwan Wickremasinghe, Lalith Rajapaksha, Ivan Anthony and several others. The movie has been produced by Creative Helanka (Pvt) Ltd.
