NGage Strategic Alliance (formerly known as Bates Strategic Alliance), its advocacy arm, NGage Goodvocacy debuted with a public launch to drive environmental and climate change awareness, hosting a day of learning and fun with The Good Market as its co-host at the Race Course last week. This event aligns with the worldwide “Climate Strike” children’s campaign the previous day, to mobilise Sri Lanka’s own would-be activists.With each passing year, the number of climate disasters is startling. Inspired by schoolchildren striking against a failed system in over 270 cities around the world, the event titled ‘Festival for Our Planet’ is set to draw attention to better management of climate-related and environmental risks, thereby creating greater social and sustainable value.
