Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Higher Education, Technology and Innovation Dr. Bandula Gunawardana recently presented a CD containing a new patriotic song on national revival penned by him to Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operation Centre for the Prevention of Covid-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) at the Ananda Samarakoon Studio of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. The song is sung by the Minister’s son Sahan Gunawardana, to music composed by Tharupathi Munasinghe. Lyricist Sunil Sarath Perera made the keynote address.
