Sri Lankan Professor Prabath Weerasinghe, a visiting Professor of the International University of Japan,hits a milestone with a land mark in computing through his Japanese patent for Build Angle–Automated Enterprise Resource Planning System based on the superconcrete mobile plant and concrete plant.
His innovation is based on language support, service area identification and faction alert that helped vehicle drivers in Japan to find roads free from snow in advance.
His computing publications since 2010 were the stepping stones of his success and many were published in international journals in computing discipline. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).
Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Control Engineering, Information Systems, Software Architecture, Computer Architecture, Human Computer Interaction, Machine Learning, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence include a few of his research areas.
Prof Weerasinghe said Japan as the country with the most efficient civil engineering operations prompted his innovations.
He said that there wasn’t a scientific mechanism to transport concrete mixes to the destinations on time in Japan.
“I have been contemplating on this and the result was the invention of the BuildAngle–Automated Enterprise Resource Planning System,” he said.
