Rising with Hope

Jesus was nailed on Calvary’s tree
To redeem mankind from the snare of sin
His sacrifice enables us to be free
And find blessed hope from within
The world is laden with human desire
Temptations surge like a flood
We are cleansed by the Holy Spirits fire
Redemption from his unblemished blood
When confronted with life’s weary pain
Be strong and remain still
The eternal life is your divine gain
Your needs Christ will always fulfil
Like a green branch that grows again
May we with indomitable hope arise
The cross is truly victory’s domain
For Jesus has fully paid the price
