Civilization reversed

Man experimented in life through ages
Moving forward through ice age to stone age
From hunting to growing and building
Undergoing critical experience continuously
Learnt importance of living peacefully,
Scratches on cave walls with little meaning
Were converted to meaningful letters
Just sounds to give each other messages
Developed gradually as meaningful speech,
Progress in subjects: science and technology
Shifted him to the zenith of civilization
Faith in invisible and supernatural powers
Was challenged by well formed religions
The philosophy taught man to be humble.
Ironically some still love age-old practices
Believing in blood-shed for heavenly blessing
Creating the question in many a mind
Will human civilization critically be reversed?
