The pageant is the unique symbol of the lionhearted nation that

Heritage and culture
to the whole universe through
the thundering noise of whip crackers
the dazzling glow of the fire ball dancers
the splendour of lavishly decorated tuskers
the honour of hereditary drummers
the majesty of traditional dancers
the shower of the blessing on the king and
his citizens.
